Looking at sales trends by city tier, first-tier and new first-tier cities remain the core growth engines for new-energy light-duty trucks, accounting for a cumulative 63% of total sales—a nearly 3-percentage-point increase compared with 2025. Second- and third-tier cities follow, with new-energy light-duty truck sales accounting for around 30%. Meanwhile, demand in fourth- and fifth-tier cities remains weak, leading to a slight 1.1-percentage-point decline in their share of total sales. This underscores that new-energy light-duty trucks still face significant challenges in converting existing diesel-fleet volumes into new-energy sales.
