In the Name of Flowers, a Tribute to the Most Beautiful You—Qingling Group Hosts a Floral Arrangement Art Experience for Female Employees

To enrich the spiritual and cultural lives of female employees, convey the Group’s heartfelt care, cultivate their artistic appreciation, and inspire them to excel in their respective roles and fully play their pivotal “half-the-sky” role in the company’s operations and development, the Qingling Group Trade Union organized a floral-arranging experience event for female employees on March 13. A total of 98 participants attended, including female labor representatives from all branch trade unions under the Group and from the trade unions of its subsidiaries, as well as other female employee representatives.

Chen Yuyang, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the Trade Union of the Group Company, delivered a speech at the event, extending condolences and gratitude on behalf of the Group Party Committee to all female employees. Over the past year, the company’s various initiatives have advanced steadily and achieved remarkable results, thanks in no small part to the hard work of all female employees. On their respective posts, they have demonstrated dedication, taken on responsibilities with courage, and, drawing on the unique qualities of women—such as attentiveness, resilience, and wisdom—successfully balanced professional and family duties. They are not only “frontline pioneers” in their workplaces but also “sources of warmth and support” within their families, serving as an indispensable “half the sky” in driving the company’s high-quality development. Deputy Secretary Chen Yuyang emphasized that the company has always attached great importance to safeguarding the rights and interests of female employees and fostering their growth and development, continuously building platforms for career advancement and striving to create favorable conditions for their personal and professional growth. As 2026 marks the beginning of the 15th Five-Year Plan period, he expressed the hope that all female employees will take this event as an opportunity to carry forward the spirit of vigorous striving, remain committed to their posts, and pursue progress with determination. A rich array of floral materials—including roses, carnations, violets, lisianthus, snow willow leaves, and bellflowers—along with professional floristry tools, were beautifully arranged, and a seasoned floral designer was invited to provide on-site instruction. The designer offered detailed explanations on topics such as identifying different flowers, understanding their symbolic meanings, mastering color coordination, honing pruning techniques, and creating compelling floral compositions, translating specialized knowledge into accessible, easy-to-follow creative methods. Female employees listened attentively, actively engaged in hands-on practice, and, in a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere, mastered the fundamental techniques.

During the flower-arranging workshop, floral designers provided step-by-step guidance on the key techniques, empowering the female employees to transform into “floral artists” in their own right. Drawing on their aesthetic sensibilities and creative flair, they rolled up their sleeves, carefully pruning, thoughtfully coordinating, and skillfully arranging flowers in dynamic, asymmetrical compositions—infusing each cut and each placement with ingenious design. As they exchanged tips and honed their skills, laughter and cheerful chatter mingled with the rich, heady fragrance of blossoms, creating a warm and convivial atmosphere.
